Joanne Martin: A Life in Miniature

Join us for an opening reception and screening of Joanne Martin: A Life in Miniature. A biographical film about the life of Joanne Martin, miniaturist and President of the Miniature Museum of Greater St. Louis.

St. Louis resident, Joanne Martin, is a miniaturist, businesswoman, museum president, Girl Scout leader, teacher, student, mother, and most of all, an indomitable human spirit. Produced by Northwest Arkansas resident Stephanie Lewis, Professor of Art and Art History and Chair of Visual Arts and Media at Northwest Arkansas Community College this is a story of how one unstoppable woman refuses to be underestimated and continuously proves her detractors wrong, ultimately creating a miniature reality around her.

Opening reception at 5:30 pm followed by film presentation at 6:00 pm and question and answer period immediately after.

Admission is free, but donations are welcome (and extremely important to our survival).
