Fabulous Fall Fungi

Saturday, November 4, 10:00am-7:00pm

Presented by mycologist Jay Justice

This new PowerPoint presentation and foraging fungi workshop will focus on techniques used to identify which fall mushrooms are worth picking. Our morning presentation will be followed by a lunch break(brown bag it or head over to Grandma’s Cafe for some down home Southern cooking), and an afternoon foray in the Ozark National Forest to observe and collect mushrooms/fungi in their natural habitat.

Then we’ll gather our finds, head back to Ozark Folkways for a hands on identification workshop followed by one of our ever popular soup to nuts mushroom centric feasts!
